China's Smart Manufacturing Enters a New Era of Autonomous Cognition with Release of First Ten Standard Clusters for 2026

2026 04/24

On April 14, the 2026 National Smart Manufacturing Standardization General Group Meeting was held in Beijing, officially releasing the first ten standard cluster achievements from smart manufacturing standard application pilots. This milestone marks China's smart manufacturing transition from process optimization to cognitive upgrading—where factories no longer just execute tasks but actively perceive, reason, and make decisions.

According to MIIT data, China has built 504 smart factories at various levels, with 15 enterprises selected as pilot-level smart factories, where AI technology is now applied across 70% of business scenarios. This intelligent transformation is permeating every corner of manufacturing: from precision assembly lines for medical devices and flexible finishing in furniture production, to automated packaging of office supplies and quality inspection of industrial equipment components. Even traditional handicraft workshops are being augmented with AI-powered visual guidance, while factory-wide security systems leverage intelligent surveillance and predictive threat detection to ensure safe operations.

In industrial robotics, China's component market size has exceeded 80 billion yuan in 2026, with humanoid robot shipments expected to surpass 60,000 units this year. These robots are increasingly deployed across diverse sectors—handling delicate medical device assembly, performing repetitive tasks in office supplies manufacturing, conducting routine patrols for facility security, and enabling agile production of customized furniture and heavy-duty industrial equipment maintenance.

This robust momentum strongly aligns with Hanhe Intelligent Technology's core businesses in general equipment manufacturing, intelligent instrument sales, and industrial robotics. As smart manufacturing standards continue to mature and AI cognition becomes the new baseline, Hanhe is strategically positioned to capture opportunities across verticals—from workshop-floor industrial equipment integration to cross-sector security and automation solutions—driving the next wave of industrial intelligence.
